Features of Lucid
Standard features include:
1) Page Management through an easy to use editor. You are able to add / delete and edit pages plus the ability to roll back to previous page versions. As well as standard Word like functions of the editor you can upload and insert images, insert data from a custom database, insert pre-designed templates for quick page creation and insert links to internal and external pages. Through the page management facility you can customize the keywords, page titles, description and URL of each page.
2) Media Library including image upload, re-size and image compression.
3) Detailed statistics reporting. This includes individual site and page views, referrers, entry and exit pages, time spent in site and many other stats.
4) Full User and Permission management through customizable user groups. You can customize your own user groups including content managers to manage certain parts of the site.
5) News and Stories Management – A system for posting news via a moderation system where an admin must moderate a story that is posted by a user before its set to “go live”. News can also be reviewed by users and their reviews moderated and posted.
6) Multi Site Language Support - For up to 18 languages. Lucid has been developed with the international market in mind. You can write the content of your site in up to 18 different languages and depending on a users selected region the site will display in their native language.
7) Full Site Searching – Search Functionality is automatically built into the site. It searches through all the pages and news items and returns its results in a Yahoo type directory listing.
8) Design Management -Content layout through content blocks. Content blocks are used to display the same content across multiple pages so you can change something once and have it update many pages. Very useful for displaying navigation, advertisements, footers etc.
9) Fully customizable templates -Allowing you to make vast changes to the whole site quickly. You can build your templates using standard HTML and a few of our Lucid Tags. Using the file manager you can upload your design to the site and see it change immediately. You can also display the same page in different templates using the page shortcuts.
10) Media manager -For uploading files / images and design templates to your site
11) Random content - You can create blocks which display random photos or quotes, customer comments and so on.
